Physical Therapy

Physical therapy works to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and

prevent permanent disabilities of individuals with injuries or disease. 

Physical therapy can also restore, maintain and promote overall fitness and 

health. Our physical therapists provide treatment for both inpatients and 

outpatients.

Custom Foot Orthotics

A custom orthotic is an inlay for the shoe, manufactured to the exact specifications of your foot.


The purpose of an orthotic is to:

  • Alleviate foot pain
  • Control/correct abnormalities in walking
  • Control movement in the competitive athlete
  • Provide cushioning for someone who stands or walks for long periods each day
  • Help the older/geriatric patient with a need for general support and to help them remain mobile
  • Help people with knee, hip or back pain that originates at the foot

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps people of all ages achieve the physical, cognitive

and behavioral skills needed to return to normal daily activities.


Our goal is to help patients achieve independence with daily 

tasks such as:

  • Dressing
  • Bathing
  • Homemaking duties
  • Getting in and out of bed, a car or bathtub
  • Help patients recover from work-related injuries


Patients may require occupational therapy for a variety of health problems, 

including orthopedic or injuries resulting from cumulative trauma or due to a 

neurological disease. Also, children who are developmentally lacking age-

appropriate skills may benefit from early intervention.


Occupational Therapy can assist with:

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Fine motor mobility
  • Pediatric sensory processing

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy includes a variety of diseases and disorders and illnesses that can cause communication problems. A certified speech therapist provides speech, language and dysphagia evaluation and treatment servicesalong with counseling to children and adults on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. Speech therapy may also include language training to improve communication, comprehension and reading skills; aural rehabilitation for those who are hearing impaired or deaf; cognitive functioning to improve orientation, memory, reasoning and problem solving. They can also develop communication devices for those who have problems speaking or swallowing difficulties.
