Pulmonary Rehab Celebrates Graduate

2/16/2017

Nevada Regional Medical Center now offers pulmonary rehabilitation to improve lung function for sufferers of chronic lung diseases.  Pulmonary rehabilitation combines education about specific diseases with monitored exercise at the hospital.

NRMC was proud to have their first graduate of the program, Mrs. Patty Ferris.  Patty has been coming to the center three times each week, for one hour at pulmonary rehab, learning and training with a variety of aerobic exercises.  “I am so glad to be feeling better and I have so much more energy” stated Mrs. Ferris.

Patients will follow up with a maintenance program after graduation by coming to the Rehab Center to continue what they have learned.

For more information on this program, you may contact the hospital at 417-667-3355.
