NRMC to Host Ladies Night

Nevada Regional Medical Center (NRMC) has scheduled its second annual Ladies Night event for Thursday, October 11 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. in the main lobby of NRMC. Ladies Night is a breast cancer awareness event that NRMC began as a way to promote education about breast cancer and encourage annual mammogram screenings for women over 40.

The event is free to attend and includes door prizes, refreshments, and vendor booths from cancer resources and education to makeup, massage, and clothing. Additionally, the NRMC Auxiliary Gift Shop will stay open through the event.

Individuals can also take advantage of extended mammography hours. Most insurance is accepted and a special discount is available for uninsured persons. This discount is provided by NRMC and the NRMC Foundation through a grant from HOPE-4-You Breast Cancer Foundation in Joplin, Mo. Those who wish to schedule a mammogram during the event should register in advance by calling the NRMC Community Relations office at (417) 448-3801.
